Comprehensive assessment, counselling, and intervention to families in British Columbia

Individual Counselling Session

50 Minutes

I provide counselling sessions for children, parents, and individuals, offering a warm and supportive environment where clients can freely express their thoughts and feelings. Utilizing my expertise in cognitive behavioural therapy, I employ evidence-based techniques tailored to each person's unique needs, equipping them with the tools necessary to face challenges confidently.

For children, counselling addresses emotional well-being and developmental challenges. I aim to create a nurturing atmosphere where children can build self-confidence, develop healthy relationships, and thrive emotionally. Together, we can support your child's journey toward growth and well-being.

Psychoeducational Assessments

Assessment Intake: 50 minutes | Psycho-educational Testing: 420 minutes

Psychoeducational assessments are essential for evaluating a child's cognitive abilities, academic skills, and socio-emotional well-being. These assessments help identify your child's strengths and areas for growth, providing valuable insights into their learning and development. Following the assessment, I offer tailored intervention strategies and recommendations to support your child's educational and life journey.

I foster a collaborative and supportive environment by working closely with parents, educators, and other professionals, ensuring children have the best opportunity to thrive. If you have concerns about learning challenges or have been advised to seek an assessment, I offer compassionate guidance and evidence-based evaluations to help your child reach their full potential.

Please note that an assessment intake is required before proceeding with psychoeducational testing.

Adult ADHD Assessment Intake

50 Minutes

Many adults seek an ADHD diagnosis for various reasons. You might experience ongoing difficulties with concentration, organization, or emotional regulation, encounter persistent challenges at work or in relationships, or simply want to understand long-standing patterns in your behavior. Some individuals become interested in assessment after reflecting on their own challenges, while others decide to explore the possibility following a child's diagnosis or due to experiences in academic or professional settings.

Using a comprehensive, evidence-based approach, I will evaluate your symptoms and review your personal, academic, and work history to identify any patterns that may indicate ADHD. This initial session is a key step in understanding how ADHD may be affecting your life and allows us to develop a personalized plan to support your goals, whether that involves further evaluation or targeted interventions.
